Rules & Regulations
These rules apply to students staying at Shanti Hostel and are linked directly with the online booking confirmation.
Admission & Stay
- Every student admitted to Shanti Hostel must comply with all hostel rules and management policies.
- Students are expected to maintain discipline, cleanliness, and respectful behavior inside and around the hostel premises.
- Hostel accommodation is provided only for the registered student and cannot be transferred or shared with outsiders.
- Students must provide valid ID proof, guardian details, address proof, and passport-size photographs during admission.
- The management reserves the right to refuse or cancel admission in case of misconduct, false information, or violation of rules.
Fee Payment
- Hostel fees must be paid only to the official hostel account or authorized payment methods provided by management.
- Monthly hostel fees must be paid on or before the 8th day of every month.
- Delayed payments may attract late fines as decided by the management.
- Repeated non-payment or delayed payment may result in suspension of hostel facilities or cancellation of admission.
- Students must collect and preserve payment receipts after every transaction.
Discipline & Conduct
- Smoking, alcohol consumption, drug use, gambling, violence, or any illegal activity is strictly prohibited inside the hostel premises.
- Students must not disturb roommates or other residents through loud music, arguments, or inappropriate behavior.
- Ragging, bullying, harassment, or abusive behavior will lead to strict disciplinary action.
- Hostel property must be handled carefully. Any damage caused by students shall be recovered from them directly.
- Visitors are allowed only with prior permission from management and within permitted timings.
Hostel Timings
- Students must follow the hostel entry and exit timings strictly.
- Late-night entry without prior permission may lead to disciplinary action.
- Overnight stay outside the hostel must be informed to the management or caretaker in advance.
Food & Facilities
- Students are expected to maintain hygiene in dining and common areas.
- Wastage of food, water, or electricity should be avoided.
- Hostel facilities including Wi-Fi, laundry, transportation, and other services must be used responsibly.
Safety & Security
- Students are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings.
- The hostel management shall not be responsible for loss of cash, valuables, gadgets, or personal items.
- Any suspicious activity must be immediately reported to the hostel authority.
Termination of Stay
- Hostel management reserves the right to terminate the stay of any student involved in misconduct or violation of hostel policies.
- Students leaving the hostel before completion of the committed period may be subject to applicable charges as decided by management.
