Refunds

Refund Policy

This policy explains refund eligibility for admission fees, booking advances, monthly fees, caution money, and cancellation requests.

Admission & Booking Fees

  • Admission fees, booking advance, and registration charges once paid are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Caution Money (50%) is refundable.

Monthly Fees

  • Monthly hostel fees once paid shall generally not be refunded.
  • Students leaving the hostel before completion of the committed duration may not be eligible for fee refunds.

Cancellation

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the hostel management.
  • Refunds, if approved by management under exceptional cases, may take 7-15 working days to process.

Damage & Deductions

  • Any damage caused to hostel property will be deducted.
  • Outstanding dues including food charges, electricity charges, penalties, or fines shall also be adjusted before any refund.

Management Rights

Final decision regarding refunds shall remain with Shanti Hostel Management. The hostel reserves the right to deny refunds in cases of disciplinary action, rule violations, or misconduct.
